Job Description: We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our night shift distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for put-away, replenishment, and order picking of oversized home furnishings using Order Pickers (Cherry Pickers) and High-Reach Trucks during our off-peak operating hours.
If you thrive in a night-shift environment, excel at high-bay operating, and can handle heavy physical lifting, this 4-day night schedule gives you every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off!
Key Responsibilities
High-Bay Order Picking & Put-Away: Safely operate stand-up high-reach trucks and cherry pickers to put away inbound stock and pick furniture orders at heights up to 30+ feet during night operations.
Heavy Manual Material Handling: Manually lift, maneuver, carry, and stack bulky, heavy furniture items (sofas, dressers, tables, mattresses) onto order picker platforms and pallets.
Night Shift Processing & Replenishment: Stock picking locations and prepare outbound orders to ensure morning delivery routes are ready for dispatch.
Inventory & Order Accuracy: Use RF scanners to scan locations, verify items, process pick lists, and update inventory in real time.
Equipment & Safety Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections, adhere to night-vision/low-light warehouse safety protocols, and follow strict OSHA fall protection standards.
Quality Assurance: Inspect inbound/outbound goods for damage and report discrepancies to night supervisors.

- Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
