Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to provide supportive, person-centered care and help improve the daily comfort, safety, and well-being of those they assist. The ideal candidate is attentive, respectful, and committed to fostering dignity and independence in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through respectful, engaging interaction.
• Support meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light housekeeping tasks when appropriate.
• Help with medication reminders and maintain awareness of care routines as directed.
• Monitor and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor or family contact.
• Assist with transportation, errands, or appointments when required and authorized.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Follow care plans, instructions, and all applicable policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving, personal care, home care, or a related support role is preferred.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, reliable, and respectful in a variety of situations.
• Comfort working independently and following care instructions with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, standing, walking, or repositioning as needed, in accordance with role requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be preferred, depending on assignment.
