Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, driven and customer-focused Main Line Service Advisor to join our Ford Service Department. This position is responsible for greeting customers on the service drive, taking all and accurate information of the guests concerns while being very thorough, managing the customer's repair experience from initial write-up through final delivery while maintaining strong communication, accurate documentation and a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and able to build trust with customers while recommending necessary maintenance and repairs. Service Advisor Responsibilities: * Review appointments before the next day * Greet customers promptly and professionally * Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms * Perform a complete service walk-around and review vehicle history * Determine and recommend maintenance base on age/mileage/condition and history of prior service history * Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts * Obtain customer authorization throughout the repair process

• Review technician video inspections and communicate recommended repairs to customers

Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently * Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order * Explain all completed work and charges to customers

• Follow up with customer after service completed for customer satisfaction survey
• Meet dealership goals for sales, customer satisfaction and repair-order performance
• Maintain an organized work area and comply with dealership and Ford processes

Service Advisor Requirements: * Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus * Ability to identify the problem quickly * Knowledge of automobiles * Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction * Past experience as a service advisor or service consultant * Very energetic personality * A desire for a long-term career with a growing organization * Personal and professional integrity * Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs * Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications * Minimum of 1 year in service department * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Basic computer skills * Positive, friendly attitude * High school diploma or equivalent We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
