Job Description: We are seeking a dependable, high-energy Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our dedicated weekend distribution team. In this role, you will lead the charge in put-away, restocking, and order picking for oversized home furnishings using Order Pickers (Cherry Pickers) and High-Reach Trucks.
This schedule is perfect for someone looking for a full-time paycheck compressed into a 3-day workweekgiving you 4 full days off every week (Monday through Thursday)!
Key Responsibilities
High-Bay Order Picking & Put-Away: Safely operate stand-up high-reach trucks and cherry pickers to put away inbound stock and pick furniture orders at heights up to 30+ feet.
Heavy Manual Material Handling: Manually lift, maneuver, carry, and stack bulky, heavy furniture items (sofas, dressers, tables, mattresses) onto order picker platforms and pallets.
Weekend Volume & Fulfillment: Maintain high productivity levels to keep up with peak weekend retail and e-commerce fulfillment demands.
Inventory & Order Accuracy: Use RF scanners to scan locations, verify items, process pick lists, and update inventory in real time.
Autonomous & Safe Operation: Work efficiently with a leaner weekend team while maintaining strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and fall protection rules.
Equipment Care: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and battery maintenance/charging for electric forklift fleets.

qualifications:
- Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
