Salary: $45,760 - 45,760 per year Requirements:

• We seek a candidate with a broad knowledge of information technology and the ability to work with a varied client base.
• A vehicle is required for travel between schools, and candidates must be able to pass an FBI/BCI background check.
• Preferred: a technology certification, associates or bachelors degree in computer science, or a related technical field.
• Preferred: knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Windows 10, macOS, and Chromebook operating systems.

• Preferred: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess the broader context and prioritize issues based on circumstances, deadlines, and solutions.

• The role involves extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Candidates should be able to commute to Chicago, Illinois; relocation to the area before starting is preferred.

• Take ownership of the sites ticketing system and resolve technical support issues promptly and professionally.
• Communicate clearly with faculty, administrators, and technicians to address day-to-day technology issues in an educational setting.
• Diagnose, repair, and deploy PCs, printers, projectors, Chromebooks, iPads, and other classroom technologies.
• Support the maintenance and operation of enterprise client/server relationships and hosted systems used by school departments.
• Assist the Network Engineer with special projects as needed.
• Help create user accounts and organizational units and reset passwords in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 Management Console, and Google Admin Console.
• Log work in the ticketing system, review the work queue for efficiency, and create documentation for common issues to develop a knowledge base.
• Provide professional development training to faculty and administrators when appropriate, including guidance on classroom technology.
• Help manage vendor relationships, order warranty replacement parts, and coordinate and assess new equipment purchases.
• Participate in ongoing technical support training.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
